To keep their skills up and keep up with the changes in the fire fighting industry.
SVFD's bravest have to train a lot.
So twice a week the paid company's train at their own firehouse.
Monday and Wednesday, from 11 am to 2 pm, station 1, 2 , 3, 4 and 5 hold their training
Alone, with other company's or with M/A units.
Battalion 2 trains every thursday at 3 pm till 7 pm on the StuddsVille airport grounds.
Volunteers train once a week on friday from 7 pm to 11 pm.
Every month there is a department exercise at the SVFD academy.
And every 4 months there is a mutual aid training with all M/A units at either the SVFD academy or the Mt. Lego fire academy.
