Studdsville Fire Department is happy to announce that a new ladder truck has been ordered with Pierce Mfg.
The new truck will be a 2016 Arrow XT 8 man cab, with a 95 foot mid mounted platform.
The rig will also be equipped with a 1500 gpm pump and a 200 gallon water tank, and a load of extras to boost the capability for this unit.
The new unit will be stationed at Station 6 in Buddyburg and will be numbered Ladder 31 replacing the 1986 Mack CF Aerialscope.
The 30 year old Bulldog will not be retired, but will be renumbered Ladder 17 and will join Engine 15 and the Water Rescue units at Station 8.
